The Stübben SteelTEC Easy Control bits are activated by strong, bilateral pressure the horse, turning them into a bar bit. With normal contact with the reins and as soon as the riderthe horse relaxes, the bit becomes flexible again and can be used like a regular snaffle bit. This allows for precise yet mouth-friendly aids when needed.

Thanks to the effect of the Easy Control bit, horses often learn to hold back on their own as soon as the bar effect kicks in. Therefore, Easy Control bits should be used for training purposes for short periods, with regular checks to see if the desired learning effect has been achieved.

The 2.5 Ring Swivel Easy Control offers various rein attachment options that allow for individual pressure distribution and different effects on the horse`s poll and mouth. Compared to a standard 2.5 ring bit, this variant acts more directly due to the third branch where the mouthpiece is attached. The double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars.

Various rein attachment options allow for adjusting the pressure of the bit on the mouth and poll as needed:

1. Option: Attaching the bridle to the upper small ring and the rein to the large ring - mild leverage effect on the poll.
2. Option: Attaching the bridle to the upper small ring and the rein to the lower small ring - effect with mild leverage on the mouth and poll.
   WARNING: Leverage bits should only be used by experienced riders.
